2. No 'zinging.' Many of us think a little, friendly 'zing' or sarcastic remark is harmless. Not so. In fact, one of the number-one indicators of underlying conflict or negativity within a work environment or relationship is increased sarcasm. There is nothing harmless about it.

"Holy fuck. I put the ZI in ZING. If you can't take zinging, you can't take Libzie. If you think sarcasm is hurtful, you should go shrivel up in a corner somewhere. There is no fucking way I could possibly remove sarcasm from any close relationship. Additionally, sarcasm is possibly the most beautiful thing that the human voice can convey...the importance of intonation. And if it 'hurts' I would argue that the 'hurt' is closer to nails scratching down someone's back during intellectual sex. If I don't bother with sarcasm, it means I must be totally repulsed by you."
