the two bills
...so I tried to get quicktime to work so I could post the Clinton/Wallace interview (which I loved) but could not... it's on YouTube now, so I could, but instead, I shall go to my favorite of TV personalities for the synopsis...

ROFL! The reason no one talked about the "facts" behind what Clinton was saying was because, as usual, THERE WERE NONE!
Here's what Michael Scheuer said on the CBS “Early Show” yesterday. Scheuer is a 22-year veteran of the CIA, who headed the agency’s anti-bin Laden unit for three years, so he is qualified to comment. Here is how he responded to Clinton’s outburst: “…the former president seems to be able to deny facts with impugnity. Bin Laden is alive today because Mr. Clinton, Mr. Sandy Berger, and Mr. Richard Clarke refused to kill him. That’s the bottom line. And every time he says what he said to Chris Wallace on Fox, he defames the CIA especially, and the men and women who risked their lives to give his administration repeated chances to kill bin Laden.” When pressed by CBS host Harry Smith regarding the failure to kill bin Laden at Tora Bora, Scheuer stood his ground saying, “…the fact of the matter is that the Bush Administration had one chance that they botched, and the Clinton Administration had eight to ten chances that they refused to try.”
So $3 Bill strikes again!!
really?... who the fuck are you?...
hahaha
now, the rest of your words intrigue me...see, I by no means am wholly informed on Clinton... nor do I recall being such a fan when he was in office as I am at this moment... (the holy power of comparison having worked it's way into my waking reality... I realize now, constantly, how good we had it...)
I am certainly not denying that the guy did a lot of sleazy things.... however, GW makes him look like a complete and total saint.
Now as to your response to the video, you miss a large chunk of the point. Why is it that no one asks the Bush regime these same questions?... why is it that the response to this interview was so extremely centered on how 'pissed off' Bill was rather than any kind of serious analysis of the SUBJECT matter... you say it is because there were no facts to dispute... but really... I ask you... if this were so clearly the case, wouldn't every spokespiece out there be clamoring to point this out?...
also, to put the blame on Clinton for Bin Laden's continued existance seems sir, ludicrous... he may have missed the 'first shot' but really... who could possibley have guessed that the reprecussions would be so great?... other than, oh say, perhaps a friend of the Laden family?.... (but thems words for other days...)
thanks though, do come again.
