CBC News: Friendly fire that killed Canadian was 'freak accident': "Two U.S. aircraft mistakenly fired on a Canadian platoon taking part in NATO's massive anti-Taliban operation in southern Afghanistan on Monday, killing one soldier and injuring dozens of others."

There have been some really beautiful and moving photographs on the cover of our local newspaper, showing the grief on the faces of the men carrying the caskets of their fallen comrades.
One of the most poignant was a picture taken at the burial of Pte. Mark Anthony Graham.
He was killed, while fighting the REAL terrorists in Afghanistan on Sept. 4th, by an AMERICAN aircraft. And while I realize, there is no way to stop all mistakes from occurring, seriously?... How incompetent can we be???
